FOR WOMEN

At Woodridge our desire is to welcome and embrace women for who they are and wherever they are in life, offering women opportunities to meet true friends and mentors. Women are faithful.  We want to create opportunities where your faith can grow in powerful, tangible ways, equipping you for whatever life brings your way.

Here is a list of opportunities and groups for women, please join us:

He Chose The Nails will help you to:

  • Understand clearly what the death of Jesus means for you
  • Identify intimately with the suffering of Jesus
  • Experience more completely the unconditional love of God

When it comes to history, to Scripture, to Jesus, to the New Testament, there is only one main event.  And when it comes to your life, the same is true.  Approach Easter 2020 with a deeper understanding and awe, marveling that He did it all for you!  REGISTER HERE

Continued from First Semester:

KNOWING AND DOING THE WILL OF GOD

Facilitator: Megan Cannistraci || Room 119

This revised study that has helped millions worldwide experience the height, depth, and breadth of God's love is now even better!  Do you desire an intimate, growing and loving relationship with God?  Join Megan in this journey, which will be two semesters long.

PRECEPT MINISTRY STUDY - HEBREWS

Facilitator: Michele Hawkins ||Room 216

The book of Hebrews is the bridge that connects the Old Testament and the New. Many Christians approach God on the basis of the Old Testament Law instead of New Testament faith. The entire book is about Jesus and how He is the guarantee of a new and better covenant.  This will be a three part series, which will continue into second semester also.  Email  for information on starting second semester.

EVENING STUDIES

MONDAY EVENING

MONDAY EVENING STUDY

TRUSTWORTHY by Lysa TerKeurst

Facilitator: Terri Marr

A 7 week class beginning January 13th at 6pm in the Cafe Area

Overcoming our greatest struggles to trust God.

When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to blame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try.

In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings, you can join Lysa TerKeurst in Israel as she honestly reveals the places of distrust in her own heart while exploring the deeply personal applicable Scriptures that will teach us how to truly trust God.

OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN

CONNECT AND CARE GROUP

"Sent to Love" is the mission of Woodridge Church.  At times, those we are sent to love are our brothers in sisters in Christ right around us.  Caring for those in our church community can look many different ways. Whether it's providing a meal for a family in need, sending an encouraging card, helping with a funeral service or providing a ride to a medical appointment, caring is something we are all called to do.  Please consider joining the Connect & Care group and making yourself available to care. Click HERE if you are interested.
