Lisa has been attending Woodridge since 2011. She is a wife, a mom to three kids and a high school teacher.
Joy. Gratitude. Purpose. These are all themes that marked Lisa’s life and have new meaning after powerful healing in 2022. In April Lisa’s heart stopped from Sudden Cardiac Arrest with no warning, and it turns out no identifiable cause. She was saved by the grace of God and through fast acting professionals that day. She was healed by the grace of God in the weeks and months since.
Lisa will share how this medical event opened her eyes to the community around her, showed her the power of prayer and allowed her to feel the healing touch of God. She will share how this event transformed her mind, her body and the way she approaches each day as she continues to seek and serve God.
