Fight Club for Men - May 11th
The Bible teaches that all of us are in a spiritual battle. We need to be ready to fight for what we love meaning God, family, marriage, friends and our lives. Fight Club is an accountability group for men. Fight Club includes physical, emotional, spiritual and relational goals.
We will do a 4-week Fight Club spring challenge starting in May. The benefit of Fight Club is the accountability can be in person or virtual. There are weekly challenges that you report to an accountability partner.
Fight Club is based on Nehemiah 4:14 "After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.” As Nehemiah was rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem there arose opposition. Nehemiah said as you rebuild the wall stand ready to fight for what matters most to you.
Fight Club is a great way to meet other guys and to improve all areas of your life.

Serving others is a wonderful way to express Christ's love. One very practical service team helps Woodridge attenders and others move locally. Apartment to apartment, home to home, to and from storage units, etc. are moves that have been accomplished by the team over the past several years. Here's how the team works: when we get a request for help, an email is sent out to the team. Whomever can, helps. Strictly voluntary. If you want to add your name to the team roster and learn about opportunities to serve in this important way, please send an email to Tom Kellenberger.
